Cancellation Policy
At MKSEN EVENTS TRENDING (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED, we understand that plans can change. Since our event and celebration packages are generally arranged for specific dates and may involve advance bookings, customised preparations, vendors, venues, materials, and other commitments, cancellations are subject to the terms outlined below.

3. How to Cancel a Booking
Customers who wish to cancel a confirmed booking must contact us as soon as possible.
Cancellation requests can be submitted through:
Email: Mkseneventspvtltd@gmail.com
Mobile: 8129671459
The cancellation request should include:
- Customer’s full name
- Booking/reference number, if available
- Event date
- Package booked
- Contact details
- Reason for cancellation, where applicable
A cancellation will be considered effective once we acknowledge or confirm receipt of the cancellation request.
4. Cancellation Charges
Because event services require advance planning and may involve commitments to third-party vendors, cancellation charges may apply.
The applicable cancellation amount will depend on factors such as:
- Time remaining before the event;
- Package selected;
- Amount already paid;
- Work already completed;
- Materials already purchased;
- Venue reservations;
- Vendor commitments;
- Catering arrangements;
- Entertainment bookings;
- Transportation arrangements;
- Customised products or services; and
- Other non-recoverable expenses.
Where specific cancellation terms have been communicated and accepted at the time of booking, those terms will apply to the booking, subject to applicable law.
5. Cancellation Before Event Preparation
If a cancellation is requested sufficiently in advance and before significant preparations or third-party commitments have been made, we may be able to provide a refund of an eligible portion of the amount paid.
Any refund will be calculated after deducting applicable costs and non-refundable commitments.
6. Cancellation After Preparations Have Started
If cancellation occurs after event preparation, procurement, vendor bookings, customisation, or other work has started, some or all of the amount paid may be non-refundable.
This may include amounts spent on:
- Decorations;
- Flowers;
- Props;
- Customised materials;
- Catering;
- Equipment;
- Venue bookings;
- Entertainment;
- Photography/videography;
- Transportation; and
- Third-party services.
7. Last-Minute Cancellation
Cancellations made shortly before the scheduled event may result in little or no refund.
This is because we and our service providers may already have committed resources, purchased materials, scheduled staff, reserved venues, or incurred other costs that cannot reasonably be recovered.
8. Cancellation on the Event Date
Cancellations made on the scheduled event date will generally not be eligible for a refund where setup, preparation, travel, staffing, materials, or other event-related services have already been arranged or provided.
Any exception will be considered at our discretion and based on the circumstances of the booking.
9. No-Show
If the customer or guests do not attend the scheduled event without providing prior notice, the booking may be treated as a no-show.
In such circumstances, amounts already incurred or committed for the event will generally not be refundable.
10. Postponement Instead of Cancellation
Where a customer cannot proceed with the event on the originally booked date, they may request a change to a future date instead of cancelling the booking.
A postponement request is subject to:
- Our availability;
- Venue availability;
- Vendor availability;
- Availability of materials and equipment;
- The proposed new date; and
- Any additional costs resulting from the change.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate postponement requests, but a new date cannot be guaranteed.
11. Date Change Charges
Changing the event date may result in additional costs.
Additional charges may arise from:
- Venue changes;
- Vendor rescheduling charges;
- Transportation changes;
- Accommodation or travel requirements;
- New material costs;
- Seasonal price changes;
- Additional staffing requirements; or
- Other costs associated with the revised date.
Any applicable additional charges will be communicated to the customer where reasonably possible.
12. Cancellation by MKSEN EVENTS
In exceptional circumstances, MKSEN EVENTS TRENDING (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED may need to cancel or materially modify a confirmed booking.
If cancellation occurs for reasons within our reasonable control, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate with the customer and provide an appropriate resolution in accordance with the booking terms and applicable law.
Where possible, we may offer:
- An alternative event date;
- An alternative package or arrangement; or
- A refund of an eligible amount.
13. Cancellation Due to Circumstances Beyond Our Control
We may be unable to provide services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:
- Natural disasters;
- Severe weather;
- Floods or storms;
- Fire;
- Government restrictions or orders;
- Public emergencies;
- Epidemics or pandemics;
- Civil disturbances;
- Strikes;
- Transportation disruptions;
- Venue closure;
- Power or utility failures;
- Vendor or third-party failures; or
- Other unforeseen circumstances.
In such situations, we will make reasonable efforts to offer an alternative date or arrangement where feasible.
If a refund is applicable, it will generally be limited to amounts that are reasonably recoverable after taking into account costs already incurred or committed.
14. Third-Party Vendor Cancellations
Certain components of an event may be provided by independent third-party vendors.
Where a vendor’s cancellation policy applies, any refund relating to that vendor’s service may depend on the amount recoverable from the vendor.
We will make reasonable efforts to communicate applicable restrictions to the customer.
15. Customised Services
Customised decorations, products, designs, food arrangements, event materials, or other specially prepared services may be subject to stricter cancellation conditions.
Once a customised service has been started, produced, purchased, or specifically arranged for the customer, the corresponding amount may be non-refundable to the extent permitted by applicable law.
16. Refund Following Cancellation
Cancellation and refund are separate considerations.
A cancellation request does not automatically guarantee a full refund.
Where a refund is approved, the refundable amount will be determined after considering:
- Payments received;
- Services already provided;
- Work already completed;
- Vendor and venue charges;
- Materials purchased;
- Customisation costs;
- Other non-refundable expenses; and
- The terms applicable to the booking.
Please refer to our Refund & Returns Policy for additional information regarding refund processing.
17. Cancellation Confirmation
Customers should retain written confirmation of their cancellation request and any response received from us.
We recommend submitting cancellation requests as early as possible to minimise potential cancellation charges.
18. Cancellation Due to Customer Information
We will not be responsible for cancellation-related losses arising from incorrect, incomplete, or delayed information supplied by the customer, including incorrect event dates, venue details, contact information, or package requirements.
19. Disputes Regarding Cancellation
If you disagree with a cancellation decision or applicable charges, please contact us so that we can review the matter.
We will make reasonable efforts to resolve cancellation-related concerns fairly and amicably.
20. Changes to This Cancellation Policy
We reserve the right to update or modify this Cancellation Policy from time to time.
Any updated policy will be published on our website with a revised effective date.
The policy applicable to a confirmed booking may also depend on the specific terms agreed with the customer at the time of booking, subject to applicable law.
